About the role
The Arts Learning Manager leads the design and delivery of innovative, evidence-based arts learning programs across Australia. You’ll combine your teaching expertise with creative program design to co-develop curriculum-aligned programs that empower students, teachers and their communities to flourish in the arts. Working alongside schools, educators, and artists, you’ll deliver professional learning, align content to curriculum, and oversee high-quality implementation. This role reports to the Director, Arts Learning, you’ll collaborate with a national team to ensure consistent, high-impact delivery that helps young people thrive through the arts.
About you
You are an educator, leader, and collaborator who is passionate about the power of the arts to transform learning in communities experiencing disadvantage.
You will have:
- A tertiary qualification in Education (essential); a specialisation or experience in Arts Education is highly regarded.
- Demonstrated experience aligning arts learning to curriculum frameworks and co-designing programs with educators.
- Proven ability to design and deliver professional learning for teachers.
- Strong project and relationship management skills, with experience working collaboratively across schools and community settings.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Strong administration, technology and evaluation abilities.
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) or State Teacher Registration. Some programs may also require a Police Check.
